🎤 2nd October
The incredible Nick Helm take to the stage. Known from Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and the BBC sitcom Uncle, Nick is one of the UK's most unique and energetic comedians. He's joined by Louise Young, fresh from her acclaimed appearance on Live at the Apollo, with Tom Glover returning as MC.

We're delighted to welcome Glenn Moore, one of the country's finest joke writers and a regular on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, and The Russell Howard Hour. He'll be joined by Tom Rosenthal, best known for Friday Night Dinner and Plebs, with Tom Rodgers hosting the evening.

We round off the year with the legendary Mark Steel. A regular on Have I Got News For You, QI, and creator of BBC Radio 4's award-winning Mark Steel's in Town, he's the perfect way to finish another brilliant year of comedy in Ivybridge.

Tom is one of the busiest and most experienced comperes on the UK comedy circuit. His quick wit, relaxed crowd work, and effortless charm create the perfect atmosphere for a comedy night, keeping audiences laughing between every act and making every show feel unique. Having shared the stage with some of the biggest names in British comedy, Tom knows exactly how to keep the energy high from the first introduction to the final applause.

This August he'll be introducing Hatty Preston and Justin Panks before welcoming comedy veteran Roger Monkhouse to headline what promises to be another fantastic night of live comedy.

We're delighted to welcome the brilliant Roger Monkhouse to Ivybridge Comedy Club on Friday 14 August at The Watermark.

Roger is one of the most respected stand-up comedians on the UK circuit, with a career spanning more than 30 years. A veteran of the world-famous Comedy Store and a favourite at major comedy clubs across the country, Roger has performed everywhere from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to comedy festivals around the globe. Renowned for his razor-sharp writing, effortless audience interaction, and impeccably crafted material, he's widely regarded by fellow comedians as one of the finest live performers in the business.

Joining Roger on the night are the fantastic Hatty Preston and Justin Panks, with Tom Glover hosting the evening as MC. Together they make up another brilliant mixed-bill lineup packed with laughs from start to finish.

Important Line-up Update 🚨

Unfortunately, due to a sudden family emergency, Dominic Holland is no longer able to appear at our upcoming shows next week.

Dominic has asked us to pass on his sincere apologies. He was genuinely looking forward to performing and hopes to return to headline for us in the future. He greatly appreciates everyone's understanding during what is understandably a very difficult time for him and his family.

We're delighted to announce that the outstanding Roger Monkhouse is stepping into the headline spot.

A true heavyweight of British stand-up, Roger has been one of the UK's leading headline comedians for over 30 years. With television and radio appearances including BBC One's The Big Stage, The World Stands Up, BBC Radio 4 and The Comedy Store, he is renowned for his razor-sharp improvisation, brilliantly intelligent writing and exceptional crowd work. Widely regarded as one of the finest live comedians on the circuit, we're incredibly pleased to have someone of Roger's calibre joining the line-up at such short notice.

All other acts remain unchanged, and we're looking forward to welcoming you for what promises to be another fantastic night of live comedy.
