🔥 Experience the power of Carmina Burana live in West London! 🔥
Hounslow Symphony Orchestra invites you to an unforgettable evening of music on 21st March 2026 at Chiswick School — featuring one of the most thrilling choral works ever written: Carmina Burana.
From the thunderous opening “O Fortuna” to moments of beauty, drama and humour, this spectacular work by Carl Orff is a true live experience — driven by huge choruses, powerful rhythms and unforgettable melodies.
What makes this performance special is its community spirit. The orchestra will be joined by an inspiring line-up of local choirs including:
• Chiswick Voices
• Chiswick Community Choir
• West London Free School Choir
• Fulham Boys School Year 7 Choir
Together with professional soloists and orchestra, young singers will take the stage as part of a major classical masterpiece — a rare and exciting opportunity for children to experience performing music on this scale.
The programme also features Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by pianist Krzysztof Moskalewicz.

Meet soprano Olivia Doutney who will be one of our three soloists in Carmina Burana. We can’t wait for Act III – The Court of Love (Cours d'amour) where the soprano truly shines in an intense aria, where she sings of surrendering to love and the love duet sections with the baritone (who you will meet soon!)
