Hi all, I'm at Miniatura this weekend. Got up at 5.30 am on Saturday, and got there for 12.30! Feeling very inspired. I've bought a gypsy caravan ! But I love this house. Not for sale, but so many ideas. I'm planning on making a Frankenhouse!! Hee hee. I did a sketch yesterday. Watch this space!

Had a lovely day at Lyndhurst Dolls House Fair yesterday. First time in about 10 years I've been just a buyer, not selling! Want to say a big thanks to Wightlink, cos I booked it the wrong way round, as though I was going Lymington to Yarmouth. Doh! They were really lovely and helpful, sorted with no fuss, got me on the ferries I needed. Nice to see Poppy and Lyn and the IOW Gang! And all the lovely traders, thanks for the hugs and care ###x

Hi everyone, sadly my husband Clive died 2 weeks ago. Most of you know he'd had cancer for nearly 6 years. He died peacefully at Mountbatten Hospice. I've been having a break from making, and the house is still upside down, and I don't have anywhere to work yet. Still got builders, who are doing the disabled access wet room, which was started before he died. Anyway I'm not selling at the Lyndhurst Dolls house fair on 1st March. MGM Fairs . But I am going as a customer, with my mum for a day trip. So I might still get a chance to say hello. I am booked for Lyndhurst in the autumn, and for a fair in Charminster on August 9th. Thanks to everyone who has sent messages of love and support. ###

Hi everyone, Dawny's Designs is going to take a little break. Sadly I won't be selling at Lyndhurst in March. As a lot of you know my husband, Clive has had cancer for a while now, and he went downhill in December. He's been in the hospice or hospital most of the time since then. He's hopefully coming home on Wednesday this week, just organising bed, and equipment and carers. I've had to clear my hobbies room and the dining room to make space for downstairs living, so I can't make things at the moment. All my D H things are in my mums garage.###

Not making anything at the moment, had a massive clear out of hobbies room, will now just be a space to store dolls house supplies, we have to fit a large mobility scooter into our house. ! But I am more organised. Will be making at the dining table in future once that room is more organised.

A new addition to my mermaid habitat. An enormous octopus! Couldn't resist! Not sure the mermaids will be too pleased, think it could be a problem. Lol. !

Really enjoyed the Lyndhurst Dolls House Fair today,despite the torrential rain. Over 300 people came and it was very busy again. Loved meeting lots of other people who think filling your house to the rafters with little tiny things is normal. Lol. X
I was quite restrained in what I bought. A floozie wearing black and gold, who will soon be working in Miss Havisham's brothel. Also a vintage street organ, that plays a tune, one day I will do a street scene with these organs, I have 3 now. With monkeys sitting on top. I've also got Rag and bone men to use in this scene. I bought a gorgeous Raven wall sconce with candles dripping blood, for Edgar Allen Poes attic room. I'm trying to remember what else I bought, but can't think, it's been a long day. X Here's photos of my table. Sold Caravan, garden with shed, and mouse house in garden pot. And lots of smaller pieces.x
