We focus on wellbeing, confidence building and community, through singing and developing musicianship.

🎶 Back for a new term together 💜
We’re back at SSSY for another term of singing, creating and making music together.

Each week we learn songs, share ideas, try new things and build something as a group. We love that SSSY is shaped by the young people who are part of it …from the music we make to the ideas they bring and the feedback they share.
It’s not just about singing… it’s about finding your voice, being creative and belonging to something.

If you know a young person aged 8–17 who would enjoy being part of SSSY, we’d love to welcome them for a free taster session 🎶

what actually happens at Suffolk Soul Singers Youth? 🎶 👀

We warm up…. we play…. we sing…. we learn together…. and sometimes we just try stuff and see what happens!
Sometimes we’re learning songs…. sometimes we’re creating, writing, improvising or coming up with our own ideas.

We want to make really good music…. but we also want to have a lot of fun while we’re doing it!

We wrote our own song this term! 🎶💜

It started as a welcome message in the board…. We gave it rhythm, we gave is melody, we wrote the song together….
had our very own recording session…
and this is what we made!

We now have our own theme tune 😂 and a lovely way to welcome new young people to the group.
