💼 We are gearing up for a busy winter season and are looking for enthusiastic Café & Bar Assistants to join our vibrant front-of-house team!

If you have great customer service skills, enjoy working with the public and have experience in a café or bar setting, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need to have worked in a theatre before, just confidence in making and serving drinks, and handling food in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

ℹ️ Please note: this is a zero-hours contract, with an initial fixed term to end of January 2027, offering flexibility, with hours varying based on performance schedules and events. We’re especially looking for team members available on Saturdays and Sundays, both daytime and evenings. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age as we cannot guarantee Café & Bar assistants will be supervised in the sale of alcohol.

Tell Your Story, our creative wellbeing programme funded by the NHS, is back this autumn! ✨

Across 10 sessions and in a safe, playful environment, you'll get to work with professional artists to explore mixed-media, creative writing and stop motion animation. You will be supported and guided to learn new skills and create pieces which reflect your interests and personal journey.

Thursdays from 24 Sep – 3 Dec (exc 29 Oct)

We have two groups available - mornings from 9:30am – 12pm and afternoons from 1:30pm – 4pm. Sessions take place in NW2, the gold-roofed building next to the main theatre.

It’s free, all materials and refreshments will be provided, and no experience is necessary!

Neil Moors trained at Birmingham School of Acting and the Royal Academy of Music.

His theatre credits include 'Mamma Mia!' (Novello Theatre, London), 'Great Expectations' (Grand Theatre, Blackpool), 'Jesus Christ Superstar' (UK and German Tours), 'Shrek the Musical' (UK Tour), 'The Sound of Music' (UK Tour) and 'Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat' (UK Tour).

His television credits include 'Coronation Street' (ITV), 'Life is not Loose' (ITV Loose Women), 'Lockdown Day Job' (BBC News) and 'Morning at the Musicals' (ITV This Morning).

YouthFest is coming!

From DanceEast, this is a festival for young people, by young people – a celebration of creativity, talent, community and youth voice.

It's a chance for young people to showcase their skills, perform, lead activities, connect with others and shape an event that reflects what matters to them.
