Getting prepped for the annual January daily painting challenge. I love taking part and seeing what other people are creating. Posting work keeps me accountable too. My aim is to do something each day, not always a full painting but sketchbook planning or studies and hopefully a bit more plein air if my fingers can manage the cold. Whatever I can make time for after work and on my days off from work. It could be anything from a whole day to 30 minutes. If you havenā€™t done much creatively recently then this can be a perfect place to get into the habit again. ā˜ŗļø

Delighted to hear that my painting ā€œSlow riseā€ has been accepted into the 2026 Pastel Society .uk annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. Exhibition runs from 21st January -7th February 2026.
