Did you know that genuine Scottish amethyst is only found in 3 or 4 locations across Scotland?

I love working with these rare stones in their raw or lightly tumbled state to let their natural character shine.

100% Circular & Sustainable:
• The Stones: Rescued off-cuts and beautiful leftovers from a local lapidarist.

• The Metal: Handcrafted using 100% recycled British pewter, giving a second life to preloved tableware and keeping it out of landfills.

Collection includes: earrings, pendants, rings, lapel & shawl pins.

Each piece is a one off.

💜Adorn yourself with a wee Fragment of Scotland💜

Sending you all a virtual refreshment from the Highlands during this heatwave. Taken on a rainy day in Glen Affric this past April! Bliss!

Stunning Mjölnir: Custom-handcrafted featuring textures from the historic walls of Bamburgh Castle. The soon-to-be owner is a fan of The Last Kingdom series, where Bamburgh—historically known as Bebbanburg—takes center stage as the home of Uhtred. Destiny is all!

Two women seemingly centuries apart. I dropped off new stock at Culloden Battlefield NTS this afternoon and the lovely Nadja Fischer was on her weekly visit to the centre. We met up for coffee and took some fab jewellery photos. More on that another day. Happy Friday! My fizz is cooling in the fridge. Watching footy later too! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

I am a self-proclaimed sucker for recycling, upcycling, and reloving wherever I can. While it’s not always possible, I try my best!
That’s exactly how these “Fragments of Scotland” pendants were born.
Each piece is sustainably sourced right here in Scotland,(actually, they are from
someone who works with much larger pieces. They feature wee treasures of Agate, Highland marble, lona marble, Jasper, and Quartz. If I can’t use them for my own castings l, I don’t want to let them go to waste. They deserve to be seen and admired!
They make the perfect little keepsake for anyone who loves Scotland. Wear genuine pieces of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 close to your heart.

The round pendant is my tribute to Stirling Castle The raw, craggy surface mimics the volcanic rock the castle stands on—a texture that evolved over millions of years, re-imagined for the my Textures of Scotland™️ collection. I captured a couple of texture imprints under the Great Hall durinf our visit in May. It is one of the oldest buildings of the castle. Note: I don’t damage any structures while capturing textures. I am pretty pleased with how they turned out. 🏰🩷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with the wonderful Nadja Fischer an avid Scotland and Outlander fan who perfectly brought the spirit of the Highlands to life.
Nadja modeled pieces from my Charms of Scotland™️ and Charms of Outlander™️ collections, perfectly complemented by an incredible, authentic 18th-century outfit handmade by our talented seamstress friend the_outlandish_jacobite with a shawl from LoullyMakes which she bought at Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers in Edinburgh.
We also captured something very special—a brand-new addition to my Textures of Scotland™️ collection: a striking shawl brooch, that compliments her overall look!
When passion, history, and craftsmanship come together, magic happens. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌿 Thank you Nadja!

Made myself a statement ring and a pendant using genuine lichen from the Cairngorms (foraged mindfully from naturally fallen pieces only! 🌲). I received a lichen beginner’s guide for my birthday a few months ago, and it is a fascinating little book. Because lichen is so brittle, it was a creative challenge—I could only capture a certain depth rather than the 100% crisp texture I get with old castle stones. Nevertheless, I absolutely love it, and it has already been spotted and admired by my local post office lady while I was dropping off orders today! Not all my Textures of Scotland have to be historic stones. Flora and fauna are just as magical. ✨
