Ilkeston Community Theatre and Festival 'We are a group who are striving for a community theatre and week-long festival in Ilkeston. We are working with the community, for the community.

We are proud of our town and want to enhance its appeal to others both within and without our community. We are a local group of volunteers, who are striving for a community theatre, arts hub, and week-long festival in Ilkeston. Our aim is to encourage regeneration of our town by attracting more visitors / trade, and to boost local community engagement. We hope to unite local individuals, business

es and organisations to bring life and community spirit back to our town. We are proud of our town and want to enhance its appeal to both visitors and to the local community. Our long term objective is to create a community theatre for our town, where local and visiting companies / groups / individuals can put on events and theatre productions, and where people can unite together in a local community hub. We are also staging a week-long Ilkeston Festival in the summer months to provide events / entertainment for the local community.
