So this year I won’t be doing my light display, due to taking a break ! But I will be joining the ilfracombe carnival and building my own float so give me some support when I blast Christmas tunes throughout the high street !

Hey everyone,

First off, I want to say a massive thank you for all the incredible support you’ve shown Aaron’s Charity Light Display over the years. It means the world to me and has made a real difference to so many.

Unfortunately, this year will be a little different. I’ve decided to take a break from the full-on mayhem of the big switch-on and massive display. So, there won’t be a switch-on event this year, and the lights will be minimal.

This decision wasn't easy, but it’s important for me to recharge and come back even bigger and better in the future. I appreciate your understanding and continued support. Even with a smaller display, any donations you can spare will still go a long way.

So I’m in the garden putting away lights and I hear the news about the Adventure Therapy Shop in the high street being broken in to here is what they have to say :

What was set to be out first day of opening this year, we were saddened to see that the Adventure Therapy Charity Shop was broken in to last night.

Our till system was stolen. Fortunately, part of it has been found - and thank you to the person who returned this to us. We are, as you would expect, insured, but it is not realistic for us to claim. We will also lose vital income as we are unable to open, presently.

The electronic till drawer and printer are missing and we would be grateful if anyone should find these disposed of, contacting us, please - 01271 865285 or [email protected].

As a charity, founded and based in Ilfracombe, supporting people in the community who lead challenging and complex lives, it was disappointing to start the year this way.
