We are looking for new members across all brass, woodwind and percussion sections. Are you returning to playing after a break? Want to dust off that forgotten instrument in the loft! Or maybe you’ve recently returned from university and are looking for a local group to play in? You would be welcome to come along to a rehearsal and try us out. We are a friendly and welcoming bunch. For more details e mail the contacts in the poster below. What are you waiting for!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for 'Music for a Summer's Day' at Copped Hall.

What a truly wonderful afternoon it was! It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the beautiful surroundings, sharing picnics with family and friends, and supporting The New Redbridge Wind Orchestra.

A special thank you to our wonderful audience for your warm appreciation, to everyone at The Copped Hall Trust for hosting us in such a magnificent setting, to all the volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes and of course to our talented musicians.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Musical Director and conductor, Chris Wilcox, for a fantastic first year with the New Redbridge Wind Orchestra.

A huge congratulations to Juliet Moseley on being the worthy recipient of the Val Harwood Memorial Award.
A well-deserved recognition of your dedication, commitment and contribution to the orchestra.
Congratulations Juliet!

Your support means so much to us, and we hope you enjoyed the afternoon as much as we enjoyed performing for you.

We look forward to welcoming you all again at a our next concert on Sunday 6th December 2026, 4pm, at All Saints Church, Romford Road, Chigwell Row, IG7 4QD.

Looking for something to do this weekend?
The New Redbridge Wind Orchestra is playing at Copped Hall this afternoon! Bring a picnic, chairs and perhaps a picnic blanket and enjoy an afternoon of Music for a Summer's Day!
There'll be a small licensed bar, and teas, coffee and homemade cakes on sale, in the Racquets Court.
Tickets on the door: £17
Accompanied children under 10: Free!
Gates open at 1.15pm
Concert begins at 2pm.

Tomorrow, Sunday 5 July, is our summer monthly Garden Afternoon. Come and enjoy our gardens and grounds! Teas, coffee and homemade cakes will be on sale in the Racquets Court, where you can also browse the Copped Hall Shop. Plants and produce will be on sale in the Walled Garden (please bring your own bags - thank you!) Our extensive secondhand book shop will also be open.
Tickets in advance: £7 (until 10pm this evening)
Tickets on the day: £8
Accompanied children and young people aged 18 and under, carers, and members of The Friends of The Copped Hall Trust: Free!
Gates open at 2pm

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Christian Aid Fundraising Concert at the Holy Trinity Church Hall, Mossford Green.
We are so grateful for your wonderful support and generosity!
We are very proud to share that together we raised:

👍🏻 £204 on the raffle
🎉 £874 in total for Christian Aid! 🎉
It was a fantastic evening of music and community spirit, and we loved performing for such a warm and enthusiastic audience.
Your support, applause, and kindness made the evening truly special.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to all our dedicated players, volunteers, raffle donors, and everyone who helped behind the scenes to make the concert such a success.
