I came out to my mum when i was only 13. Well, i say came out, she found some inappropriate things on my iPod touch that revealed i was indeed into men. 😂😬

When this happened she wasn’t sure what to say or how to deal with it so she told our neighbour and close friend Debbie who is a Le***an and also a mother.

She came to me and i was covering my face with a blanket full of shame and embarrassment. She took the blanket down and told me to never be ashamed of myself , that my family loved me and that things would be ok. ❤️

I feel very lucky to have a supportive family and q***r people around me growing up. It has made me so much more comfortable with my sexuality and i don’t think i would have the confidence to do drag without this. 🏳️‍🌈

Unfortunately, Debbie was diagnosed with terminal cancer and this picture is from her celebration of life party. Im devastated that i will loose Debbie sooner than expected but am forever grateful for her love and influence she had on me, and for the opportunity to perform for her in person.

I love you Debbie thanks for looking out for me and being a truly special friend. ❤️
