Curtain Up Players We are an over 50's drama group based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire at The Brian Jackson house All of our plays are plotted but unscripted.

The Curtain Up Players are a group of about a dozen actors ranging in age from the mid fifties to over 80 based at the Brian Jackson Centre in Huddersfield. We started up six years ago as a group – The Sunshine Players - for the over 50’s based at the Lawrence Batley Theatre. Two years ago we moved to the Proper Job Theatre Company and changed our name. We devise 3 or 4 plays a year which we perf
