This years Onwards Festival starts with three very fine acts, three very fine acts indeed. Let us introduce them to you. Read to the end to find out how to get involved if you're not already.

Mishra: Mishra are a global folk duo from the UK gathering international recognition, who draw together roots in UK traditional music with continent-spanning musical textures into a multi-limbed virtuoso performance.

PENNY: Just a small town girl trying to make it in a big wide world. PENNY is a Huddersfield based artist with sweet and bewitching vocals, irresistible melodies and West Yorkshire charm. PENNY bares all in her songs, as she displays sentiments on toxic relationships and self worth.

Caleb: Caleb first appeared on the Huddersfield music scene over 15 years ago at The Acoustic Club. At Onwards 2024 he will be performing his most diverse set to date, a mixture of Vocals, Guitar, Piano and Spoken Word, all done with the signature and polish that has become synonymous with Caleb's music.

Very excited that brewery extraordinaire and official Onwards sponsor Zapato Brewing have once again created an Onwards Festival Beer!

This year's Onwards beer is still a 4% Hazy Pale Ale, but now gluten free! A fruity, hazy, sessionable pale ale with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado. Beautiful rich citrus, tropical fruit and pine notes on a lightly sweet cracker-like base with a satisfying bitter finish. DELISH!

The beer is available now at Zapato Tap and will be available at all the venues on the day of the festival. The perfect pint to enjoy with a fantastic lineup of live music.
