In 2018, Robin Hood brought Sherwood Forest to Hounslow.
This was proper pantomime: heroes, villains, songs, slapstick, silly jokes and an audience ready to boo, cheer and get completely involved.

By 2017, Hounslow panto was really finding its voice.
Dick Whittington combined a traditional panto story with original twists, local humour, fresh jokes and plenty of opportunities for the audience to join in.

The verdict from theatre critic Susan Elkin was clear:
“Now this is how you produce a decent local panto.”

It remains a line we are very proud of. Great local theatre should feel confident, professional and completely connected to its audience.
That principle has shaped every Hounslow pantomime since and sits at the heart of this year’s Aladdin.

In 2016, Cinderella arrived at The Arts Centre Hounslow.
Our second annual pantomime strengthened something that has remained central to every production since: creating a Christmas show that children, parents and grandparents can genuinely enjoy together.

Our story begins in 2015 with Aladdin, the production that launched our annual pantomime tradition at The Arts Centre Hounslow.

Audiences immediately understood what we wanted Hounslow panto to be: joyful, welcoming, properly entertaining and affordable for local families.

Eleven years later, Aladdin is returning to Hounslow. Over the next 12 days, we’ll be looking back at every pantomime that brought us to this year’s production.
The magic started with Aladdin. This Christmas, it comes full circle.

🎭 YES... THE TREATY CENTRE IS STILL HERE. AND SO ARE WE! 🧞✨

Against all odds, The Arts Centre Hounslow is still here, still inside the Treaty Centre and still battling away to bring brilliant live theatre to the heart of Hounslow.
And this Christmas, our pantomime is back!
We're incredibly excited to be producing ALADDIN, our big family pantomime for 2026.

If you've been to one of our pantos before, you'll know just how much goes into them. These are proper, professionally produced shows, made right here in Hounslow, packed with fantastic performers, brilliant songs, huge laughs, colourful sets, costumes and all the gloriously ridiculous traditions that make a great British panto.

Our productions have previously been nominated for three Pantomime Awards, and we're enormously proud of the reputation Hounslow's panto has built.
After everything that has happened around the Treaty Centre, we're genuinely thrilled that we're still able to bring these shows to our audience.

But keeping a local theatre thriving ultimately comes down to people using it. So if you live in Hounslow, Isleworth, Brentford, Feltham, Chiswick, Osterley or anywhere nearby, please get behind your local theatre this Christmas. Bring the children. Bring the grandparents. Bring the whole family. Come and have a brilliant time, make some Christmas memories and support professional theatre being produced right here on your doorstep.
