Volunteer Trustees Wanted – Hookwood Memorial Hall

Could you help shape the future of an important local community space?

Hookwood Memorial Hall is looking for new volunteer trustees to join our friendly committee. As a registered charity at the heart of the local community, we provide a venue for local groups, clubs, events, children's parties, fitness classes and much more.

You do not need previous trustee experience. What matters most is a willingness to contribute your skills, ideas and a little time to help the Hall continue to thrive for future generations.

Trustees attend regular committee meetings and work together to support the management, governance and ongoing development of the Hall.

As a thank you for your contribution, trustees are eligible for one free hall hire each year for their personal use.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in your local community, meet new people and help support a valued community asset.

🌸 Community in Bloom at Hookwood Memorial Hall 🌸

We were delighted to support our wonderful local community at the recent ‘Potting Event’ for the Village In Bloom competition.

Our hall garden became a busy and cheerful meeting point, with volunteers coming together to plant up beautiful displays that will brighten the village for everyone to enjoy.

It is fantastic to now see these efforts brought to life, with the planters proudly on display along Reigate Road 🌼

A huge thank you to everyone who took part – your time, care, and community spirit have made a real difference.
