Greetings all!
Remarkably this Friday sees the final gig of the current season at Wakefield Jazz, featuring Chris Batchelor’s Zoetic - trumpet/viola/guitar/bass/tabla/percussion - Mediterranean/balkan/North African influences - on stage at 8.00pm, book tickets (and food) at https://www.wakefieldjazz.org/chris-batchelors-zoetic/ - or turn up on the night.
We have had a series of exceptional gigs this year, too numerous to mention of course, but special nights particularly from Shirley Smart, Liam Noble, Emily Brown, Clifford/Gee/Baptiste celebrating Alec Sykes and the thunderously inspiring Alexander Hawkins Trio last Friday. I can only encourage you to come along to one more unique musical happening at Wakefield Jazz this Friday, before we go into hibernation for a summer of renovation and recuperation.
We will return on Friday 7th October, and will continue to guarantee top quality live music to a discerning audience!
Best wishes
Pete Rosser (Promoter, Wakefield Jazz)
