Who’s ready for another Thursday full of live music, all at Club 85 in Hitchin this week?

We’ve got another 4 acts, so grab your tickets now or simply wait until the night and grab them on the door, the choice is completely yours!

All ages gig so feel free to bring the family if they don’t mind a later night (ear defenders available on the downstairs desk).

So who’s on this week:

OLD MAN JR:
OLD MAN JR. are a 3-piece Psych-Alt-Rock band out of Hertfordshire, UK. They are a frantic powerhouse that produces something unfiltered, striking, and undeniably energising. Their unique style of entertainment fuses angular guitar, fuzzy bass, thrashy drums and tight vocal harmonies that gives rise to their refreshing and commanding songs. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic array of influences spanning across many musical genres, bands such as King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, QOTSA, Biffy Clyro and Thee Oh Sees

The 27 Club:
An up and coming funk/punk band bringing head banging energy, dance filled grooves and stand out musicianship. Drawing inspiration from Rage Against The Machine, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Prince, you’re bound to have a great night.

12V:
12V are a young rock band from Tring formed in 2023. Dan Ryan on guitar and vocals, Ethan McDonough on bass and backing vocals, and Rhys Galvin on drums. Inspired by desert rock, blues rock and psychedelic rock. They’ve performed at gigs and festivals across Herts and Bucks.

Magerison:
Magerison is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has honed his craft performing across South London, Bristol, and the South West. Blending influences from blues, rock, reggae, and soul with elements of his Celtic heritage, Billy has developed a distinctive sound characterized by tight grooves, soulful vocals, and experimental effects that verge on the psychedelic.

WE’RE BACK THIS THURSDAY FOR ANOTHER LINE UP OF 4 BANDS @ Club 85 IN HITCHIN:

Bleach Teeth:
The graveyard is shaking as Bleach Teeth rises from the grave as they wander the mortal plain to perform their last show at the Hertfordshire famous 'Club 85'. Bleach teeth is a 4 piece thrash, punk and metal band being made up of 'Lewis Thompson' 'Jay whiting', 'Dominic Sampson' and 'Stanley Black' and are known for being in the battle of the bands finals along side 'Pearlescent' & 'Deadbeat brackets'.

Das Kapitans:
Das Kapitans are a four‑piece UK DIY punk band built on noise, graft, and the joy of playing loud in any room that’ll have them. Made up of Steve, Simon, Lewis, and Ollie, they deliver hook‑heavy chaos, sharp humour, and a live show that feels gloriously unhinged yet razor‑tight underneath it all. They’ve gigged with S***f, The None, Press Club, Wonk Unit, and a growing list of underground favourites, taking their racket across the UK and Italy and earning a reputation as the band that turns up, plays hard, and makes friends everywhere they go.

Lost Without Cause:
Lost Without Cause are a 3 Piece alternative rock band from South-East England, with a passion for creating unique memorable anthems across the genre. Blasting hooks and launching catchy ear-worms that'll stick with you all day, whilst on stage they deliver an adrenaline fuelled performance you will never forget. With over 250k combined views on YouTube they have previously supported Don Broco, Fozzy, Kids In Glass Houses, Dave McPherson (InMe), China Drum and many more.

PACE:
We are PACE, a five piece Indie funk band from the south Essex area, each member brings their own style and unique influences ranging from pantera to chillies, midrift to high fade and Bowie. Known for our high-energy live shows we bring tight grooves big riffs and an atmosphere that gets every crowd moving. PACE aren’t chasing trends, there building a movement, bringing fast, filthy, indie-funk to the masses on there own terms. Up the PACE!!

THE HERETICS
The Heretics are an Alt-Rock outfit reminiscent of alternative artists through the late nineties to present including Taking Back Sunday, The Gaslight Anthem, Dave Hause, Green Day, You Me at Six and Neck Deep, they deliver a hit of nostalgia with their blend of melancholic lyrics and high energy melodies.
‘When Modern Meets Nostalgia’ - Paris Munro, Kerrang!

Calico Palace
Calico Palace is a three-piece alternative rock / pop-punk band from Milton Keynes, blending high-energy hooks with emotional depth and a modern edge. Formed in 2022, the band draws inspiration from genre giants like New Found Glory and Saves The Day, channelling that influence into a sound that’s punchy, melodic, and instantly memorable.

Mum and Dad Talk to Animals
Cathartic Midlands Emo. Raw, vulnerable lyricism meets an unapologetically intense sound.

Moments From Glory
With origins in 2014 (as a 5-piece band), “Moments From Glory” are a Hard Rock, Punk and Metal outfit, based in
Hertfordshire. The band’s influences span the decades from 1970’s Rock, right through to modern day Metal.
The current incarnation of MFG (re-invented in 2022) now perform as a power trio. Together, Russ, Phil & Graham have compiled a full set of original anthemic tunes.

NEXT LOT OF 32 BANDS READY AND WAITING FOR YOU! DIARIES AT THE READY…

The events and ticket links are being set up as we speak via Club 85’s website, so forget about watching a big band from a mile away and washing down the dreadful experience with overpriced drinks, and come actually speak to the next big band starting out whilst enjoying a wide selection of fairly priced drinks, all in Hitchin. All this and you can even bring your young ones too (under 16 needs to be signed in and accompanied by a responsible adult - ear defenders available via the front desk)

The music scene is thriving and Club 85 is at the core!

Tonight, we’re back at Club 85 in Hitchin for another night of live music from 5:45PM

We’ll be introducing 4 acts, each playing for 45 minutes from 6PM (doors open at 5:45PM) - so feel free to bring the family and younger children as one of bands is only 11 years old tonight so great inspiration for youngsters wanting to get into music wanting to be inspired. The night finishes at 9:45PM

Assisted access around the back and dedicated seating for those unable to stand available! Ear defenders available for youngsters or those sensitive to louder sounds.

Jaded Jester:
Jaded Jester is a female-fronted alt-rock/numetal three piece from Southend.

Born a year ago out of the love for similar bands such as Skunk Anansie, Tool, Alter Bridge, 90s-00s vibes are deeply rooted in the band's sound, and after a solid debut album released in February under their belts, Jaded Jester vows to put on a show that will drive in audiences that would not call themselves fans of heavy music.

cyberSKIN:
We’re cyberSKIN, a four-piece alternative rock band inspired by Deftones, Muse, Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins.

Eli:
Eli is a singer, guitarist and loop-pedal artist who blends soulful vocals with rhythmic rap. Using guitar, keyboard, and live looping, Eli creates layered performances that feel full, dynamic, and original.

Bliss:
Making their debut appearance at Club 85, we’re excited to have Bliss join the line up.

Formed of 2 friends Kingsley (guitar) and Benjamin (drums), both 11 year olds, their love of rock music, specifically grunge, sees them start of their amazing journey into the music world.

If you love grunge music and bands like Nirvana and Pixies etc, these are for you, let’s show this young duo some support.
