Community Update Regarding The Firebird Centre
We are aware that there has been considerable discussion within the community regarding The
Firebird Centre and the future of the building.
The position is relatively straightforward. The previous occupancy arrangement has come to an end
and discussions are ongoing regarding potential future arrangements for the premises.
As a result, The Firebird Centre is not currently operating from the building whilst those discussions
take place.
We understand that this uncertainty is frustrating for many people who have supported the centre
over the years, and we would like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding and the many
messages of support we have received.
Our hope remains that a positive long-term solution can be found which allows community
activities, children's services and other valued groups to continue benefiting from the facilities in the
future.
In the meantime, TDS Dance Studios CIC continues to operate successfully from alternative venues
within Hilton, and all classes and activities are continuing as planned.
As discussions regarding the building are ongoing, we are unable to comment further on specific
matters at this time. We would respectfully ask that people avoid speculation and allow the parties
involved the opportunity to explore potential solutions.
