Our final pre-Fringe Q***r Folks' Tales show in Aberdeen Lemon Tree theatre Aberdeen Performing Arts on Fri 19th June was a moving, heart-warming and hugely enjoyable evening of q***rer-than-q***r stories and songs. Many thanks to the wonderful audience (you could feel the love in the theatre). Joining regular host Turan Ali as fellow storytellers were the captivating Michael Johnson and Jamie Morogh McCormick plus the brilliant singer-songwriter Lake Montgomery Please support the 2 Edinburgh Fringe shows from our stable: Turan Ali's outrageous solo comedy show "You Straights Are F **ked Up!" following sell out performances in Europe and Asia, and a weekly Q***r Folks' Tales show each Wednesday of the Fringe, collecting q***r Fringe talent to tell stories from around the world. The show finishes at 9.30pm so there's plenty time to catch the Scotland match at 11pm. The award-winning Q***r Folks' Tales returns to Aberdeen on Friday 19th June at 7.30pm for another vibrant, hilarious, moving and raunchy night of LGBTQ+ storytelling and songs from a fabulous quartet of Scottish-based performers. It's our 5th show at Lemon Tree Theatre Aberdeen Performing Arts and we've had fab audiences every time. Come and see what all the fuss is about. Our huge audience last night at Edinburgh's Scottish Storytelling Centre were just as much the storytellers as we read out their stories written in the interval, to add to the moving, hilarious, authentic and raunchy stories performed superbly by crime writer Emma Christie Writer, stand up Heather Kondak Ross and singer-songwriter Raveloe who joined regular host Turan Ali . The next Q***r Folks' Tales is in Aberdeen on Friday June 19th plus every Wednesday of the EdFringe, and there's Turan Ali's hilarious solo show throughout the EdFringe called "You Straights Are F**ked Up!" We're sure you'll continue to support these q***rer-than-q***r community-building shows, that really do celebrate our lives. Thanks to all for such a magical evening. Links below:
