The 22nd series of Taskmaster will see another five famous faces attempting to impress Greg Davies as Alex Horne puts them through a new collection of bizarre challenges.
This year’s line-up features comedian Chloe Petts, Peep Show star Isy Suttie, Doctor Who favourite Matt Lucas, ventriloquist and comedian Nina Conti, and The Bad Guys star Richard Ayoade.
Channel 4 has teased that the new tasks will see the celebrities “crawl through secret tunnels, look for faces on toast, go on holiday with shoes and make interesting use of their armpits”.
The programme continues to grow internationally too, with a Polish adaptation recently announced as its 14th international version.
Speaking about the show’s global expansion, Alex joked: “I think this has got a bit out of control, to be honest.”
Meanwhile, Greg recently revealed that Alex still knows exactly how to irritate him, saying: “I think he deliberately sits down and thinks: ‘I know how to get Greg into character, and it’s to properly wind him up.’”
And now we know exactly when the new series begins. Taskmaster returns on Thursday, 3 September at 9pm on Channel 4, with the episode arriving on the Taskmaster YT channel worldwide an hour later.
