🏆 Great to attend the Kids in Museums Awards ceremony yesterday afternoon with fellow Little Historian, Katie Arnold. Chatting with the nominee's and winners was a profound reminder of how incredibly dedicated, creative and resourceful museum teams can be.

👩‍👧Being a mum to a very lively five year old, our local museums have been my lifeline. When I've quivered with dread at the idea of a drizzly playground or the (worse!) 'sticky swamp' that is soft play (anyone else?! 😳) These welcoming museums have been our no-so-sectet escapes, keeping my sanity (mostly) intact!

✍️As I get ready to pen an article on this year's event for The Little Historians Magazine I'd like to take the time to say, a big well done to all the nominee's and winners this year. May you continue to inspire and support us all! 🥳

🏹 Spent a day down at Butser Ancient Farm this summer for my latest write up for The Little Historians Magazine Learning archery, bonding with goats and some serious thread weaving skills going on 🎯
