So, in a true act of brilliance, I’ve managed to run out of the exact yarn I need to make my book samples. 🙃👏 Because obviously, planning ahead is for other people… not me.

Since I can’t crochet, I’ve had no choice but to drown myself in a spreadsheet that has taken FAR too long to make. But, as much as I’d love to just sit and stitch all day, there’s a whole load of behind-the-scenes work that goes into writing a crochet book—like actual maths, organising, and pretending I know what I’m doing.

Crochet isn’t just yarn and hooks, my friends… it’s also stress, spreadsheets, and snack breaks to cope. 🤣

Now, fingers crossed my yarn order arrives soon before I start questioning all my life choices! 🧶

✨ Throwback to August 2021... ✨
I put it out into the universe that I was writing a book. I had no idea how long it would take, no clue about the hurdles ahead, but I knew one thing—I was going to make it happen.
Fast forward to today, and while the book isn’t quite there yet, the journey has been nothing short of incredible. In the time since, I’ve had the privilege of working with publishers all over the world, refining my craft, learning the ins and outs of the industry, and pushing my creativity in ways I never imagined. Oh and I had a baby, that can set your goals back a bit.
Now, I’m at a turning point. I’ve just wrapped up my last crochet design (for a while), and it’s time to shift gears. It’s time to focus on me again. It’s time to bring this book to life.
Manifestation is powerful, but action is everything. So here’s to the next chapter—literally. Let’s get this book published. 📖✨
