Coopers painting has been given to his family, so I can share. I do a lot of memorial paintings for people, I try to capture the spirit of the dog as best I can. I don’t want to be hyper realistic, I want you to know it’s a painting and some fool was blobbing liquid pigments about in an attempt to represent (in this case) Cooper, a much loved and missed family member. I decided not to go with the sandy nose! Cherish those furry faces, we don’t have them for long ###xx

I keep a journal and do doodles in it of thoughts of the day. I don’t always do a doodle, but they are a bit of fun! Yesterday I met a couple with 5 dogs, you know I’m pretty nuts about dogs. I didn’t see any of them but here’s my interpretation of the doggies I missed!
