Studio image working on ‘Echoes’ 83x122cm 2024. This painting/collage is mixed media on canvas on board. It was finished with a pencil thin matt black frame with shadow gap. The textured image was created using oil paint, pigment, oil based medium and rice paper.

“Filtered Illumination” 122x122cm 2025 mixed media on canvas.

This image is from my recent one man show at ‘HillSide Gallery’. The show, set in four rooms, represented recent art works that included painting and sculpture. This piece was exhibited in the dimly lit confined space of the basement. The canvas is set against a rugged stone wall that added a rawness and texture to the experience. Light cast across the panel emphasises the complexity of its making, acrylic paint and rice paper combine adding permanence with fragility.
