Diving into the world of abstract sea and landscapes has been a liberating experience for me. Using oils and cold wax allows me to capture the ever changing moods of the Sussex coast. Can’t believe it’s been four years. My very first painting I did at Cora Murphy Art workshop. One of the most beautiful friends and an amazing mentor any artist could wish for.

Art in itself is a form of mindfulness and therapy, not just for the artist but for the viewer. So I find myself once again being pushed to find a little bit of sanity in a world full of uncertainty.

Any paintings under £200 will be sold under Support Pledge, and I plan to donate a painting a week

The Storm Within

Like many other creatives, I have really struggled in the past severel weeks. Trying to find the significance of painting when yet another country and its people are being destroyed and displaced by force and tyranny.

But a friend reminded me that during times of uncertainty, art in itself is a form of mindfulness and therapy, not just for the artist but for the viewer. So I find myself once again being pushed to find a little bit of sanity in a world full of uncertainty.

So I plan to post a painting a day. Any paintings under £200 will be sold and under Artist Support Pledge. I will also be donating one painting a week Under the Ukraine Support Pledge with 100% of proceeds being paid directly to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

The Ukraine Support Pledge are trying to raise as much as they can in four weeks using the Artist Support Pledge principles for the sale and purchase of work.
