Last seashell session of the week at Collington Park Lodge.

Residents created lovely designs, we all swapped paint colours and enjoyed adding sequins to make the finished pieces extra special!

Superb seashells at Eridge House Rest Home today!

We had great fun swapping paint colours with eachother to create vibrant works of art. Everyone enjoyed adding sequins, sequins and more sequins!

Superb seahorses at Ponbay Lodge Care Home today to celebrate yesterday's World Oceans Day.

Firstly, residents used watercolours to create their beautiful, underwater backgrounds. Then they painted seahorse shapes with acrylic paints, to make their underwater creatures really stand out.

Well done all, they look fab!

It's World Oceans Day today, a day for celebrating the water that connects us across the planet, and all life within it!

Residents at Lennox Lodge painted these beautiful shell pictures in bold, bright colours. To make them pop even more, they chose contrasting backgrounds.

Stunning sea shells this morning at MHA Lauriston for World Environment Day (today) and World Oceans Day (on Monday 8th June).

Residents painted the shells in a colour of their choice, then we all swapped paint colours with eachother several times to add markings and details in different hues.

We then chose contrasting paint for our backgrounds so that the shells really popped!

Finally, those who wanted to added glittery sequins to bring a bit of sparkle to the finished pieces.

A really fun session - well done all!

Lovely collages by the residents of Grosvenor House Care Home for World Environment Day.

First, residents chose from a selection of blue and green magazine papers to make their collages, assembling them in random patterns. Then, we drew round their hands onto brown paper, and cut out their handprints, before glueing them over the collaged pieces.

Residents really enjoyed the activity and were especially pleased by the end results!
