Medal Update: the medals are now out of customs and in the Running Imp offices. Next step is to confirm our results and finalise any DNF queries and then they'll be on their way to you. We also have the finish line photos ready for uploading Tomorrow! Thank you all for your patience and understanding with this situation X

Well done everyone, you smashed it and should all be feeling very proud! Thank you to all that made today happen, lots of work behind the scenes from a great bunch of amazing people that we have met through Warrior Run, paramedics on top form today as always, mr goatman playing some perfect bangers, our regular MC, the gym group for warming everyone up, the Qleisure team and our incredible fun loving volunteers taking time out of their weekend to make todays event happen.

We hope you all had a great time and look forward to seeing you again.

Dear warriors it saddens me to say but we have been massively let down by our useless medal supplier Running Imp.

We will not leave you empty handed at the finish line and all finishers will receive our brand new medal in the post in the very near future.

We are sad, fuming and massively sorry for this but it is fully out of our control. These were ordered and paid for in full months ago.

I have pasted the running imp message below:

Hi Lloyd,

I think you spoke to my colleague Georgia earlier this week reference your medals for your event this weekend?

I did just try to call you in relation to this but I wasn’t able to get through by phone.

I do unfortunately have some bad news. We were expecting your medals yesterday but customs pulled a last minute inspection of the whole container (of which a small portion is our cargo) and they won’t release the goods.

I’ve held off telling you as long as possible as were hopeful it would all be sorted today so I could get them to you tomorrow but unfortunately we have just been informed by our freight forwarder that it’s not going to be possible.

I am so very sorry about this. We have literally tried everything we can to get them to budge but they just won’t so it’s completely out of our control.

We'd be happy to post out the medals to all of your finishers with a letter of apology.

If you could let me know once you have received this email that would be great.

Again, Lloyd I really cannot apologise enough.
