TODAY - One of South Harrowโs best-loved community events is set to return (on Saturday 4th July), with an even bigger programme of entertainment, competitions and family activities following last yearโs successful revival.
Running from 12pm until 8pm at Roxeth Recreation Ground, the Roxeth Show continues a tradition dating back to 1979, celebrating the people, culture and community spirit that have defined South Harrow for generations.
Following the hugely successful return of the event in 2025 after an eleven-year absence, organisers have expanded this yearโs programme with more live entertainment, more community groups, more attractions and a longer day of celebrations.
Visitors can enjoy a packed programme of performances including a DJ set from Collective Eventz, the Schools of South Harrow Carnival, featuring pupils from Welldon Park Academy and Earlsmead Primary School, alongside performances from Harrow Steel Band, Groove Academy, Indie Choir, Jay Kumar, Morgan (Saxophone) and more throughout the afternoon and evening.
For those who enjoy a challenge, the Pepe's Piri Piri Extreme Wings Challenge also returns, inviting brave competitors to test their spice tolerance in front of the crowd.
The day will also feature children's entertainment, community stalls, food vendors, fairground attractions and one of the show's biggest ever raffles, which will all help to raise funds to ensure the event can go on next year.

The event is organised by volunteers, local councillors, community groups and businesses, continuing a tradition that has brought South Harrow together for almost five decades.
Louise Bloomfield, Assistant Headteacher (and Head of Welldon Park Academy from September), said:

As someone who grew up here, I have such happy memories of summers spent in our parks, and now I love seeing todayโs children creating memories of their own. Itโs especially exciting to see our local schools taking centre stage in this yearโs Schools of South Harrow Carnival. The Roxeth Show is a celebration of everything that makes our community special, and we canโt wait to welcome everyone back for another fantastic day.โ

The Roxeth Show remains free to attend and is open to everyone, offering a full day of live entertainment, community activities, food, competitions and family fun.
