Lauren aspires to be an actress. She really wants the role of Maria in her high school production of West Side Story. Life at home is tough. Theatre is her escape. She’s come to this drama class to learn how to act, but it’s not quite what she expected.

Teresa has left her life as an actor in New York behind. She’s trying to move on from a difficult relationship and meet new people. She hopes this acting class will be a positive step in the right direction. Oh, and she loves hooping.

James has drifted around the country growing up. He seems happy with his wife Marty although recently his daughter won’t talk to him. His eyes are opened during these weekly drama classes that Marty has dragged him along to.
