HADS Hadleigh Amateur Dramatic Society Welcome to HADS the group have been entertaining since 1920 and in June 2014 Trev Clarke took over as the new chairman.

HADS has put on pantos, murder mystery's and short plays. People of all ages take part in shows and its idea for family's to get involved with. Membership is only £10 a year to cover insurance costs and we would like to provide entertainment for all ages including family events.

🕵🏻 FINAL SHOW DAY 🕵🏻

It's your final chance to come and see HADS' spectacular performance of "Goldilocks, Holmes, and the 3 Bears" at Hadleigh United Reformed Church. The show has received rave reviews from the first two nights:

⭐️ "Fantastic!"
⭐️ "Thoroughly enjoyable, can't wait to come back again Saturday."
⭐️ "The young cast do an amazing job leading the show and there are some great voices in the cast."
⭐️ "A really good show, great set up, songs and movement topped with an ever-changing dame and accessories."

🎟️ There are still some tickets remaining for today's shows. We have a matinee at 2pm and an evening performance at 7:30pm. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £12 for over 65s, and £10 for under 16s.

🎟️ Tickets will be available at Paddy and Scott until 12 noon. After that, you can purchase them by emailing [email protected] or at the door.

🎭 WE’RE BACK! 🎭

HADS are over the moon to announce we’re going to be back in Hadleigh for our 2026 untraditional pantomime of ‘Goldilocks, Holmes and the 3 Bears’.

We’re so happy to be back performing in Hadleigh URC during the February half term with 3 evening performances and a Saturday matinee as well.

HADS are happy to share that we are returning for another year of panto! This year we are thankful to Andrew Love for writing this year's show; 'Goldilocks Holmes and the 3 bears' - a unique twist on 2 well known stories.

This year we are having a read through of the script before auditions for everyone interested to come along and get to know the story as well as a view of the characters in preparation for auditions. The read through will take place on Sunday 7th September from 3-6pm at Hadleigh Football Club, followed by 2 opportunities to audition; Wednesday 10th September 6-9pm (children will be finished by 8pm latest) and Sunday 14th September 3-6pm, both sets of auditions are being held at Hadleigh Football Club.
This year HADS are proud to share that we are supported by Hadleigh Football Club, and we are grateful that we are able to use their club house for the majority of our rehearsals. Show week will take place in February half term (16th - 22nd February), we ask that all potential cast members are available this week for final dress rehearsals and then the shows Thursday 19th, Friday 20th and 2 shows on Saturday 21st.
