Yep I’m not joking, ask my friend Noe.

Why?
Because I was hurt by a man 🥴🥲
Honestly though, many men up until that point.

Admittedly I did have to take a long break from this page, to gain perspective and go inwards…

I soon realised, yes, I didn’t feel emotionally safe or seen in my past relationship, or with the men who I was hurt by.

But that shouldn’t stop me from creating that safe space for others, who are seeking that place of belonging where they can open up, just like me.

That shouldn’t stop me from experiencing beautiful milestones such as painting nails for young boys, and men on their weddings.

I’m so glad I kept going, and I continue to experience so many beautiful stories and moments with you while I bring your nail visions to life. They say time is the greatest healer, but I think it’s creativity, and connection.

We’ve been going since 2018… that is a solid 8 years!

I have been so blessed to reach these ‘menicure milestones’ thanks to you all.

I honestly had no idea what I was doing at the beginning. All I wanted was to normalise men getting their nails done, but it’s you guys that made the rest of it happen.

Through our conversations, I have been able to learn more about the importance of making manicures more inclusive… and that includes non-binary folk as well.

I can’t wait to see what comes next. Times are hard, but it’s moments like these that are the glimmers of light, and a step towards shaping a more progressive world.
