Pigeons. Now I'm generally not a fan of the pigeon, to quote Homer (Simpson) "Rats with Wings", but today I thought I'd sit in the garden and watch what they got up to. A lot of sitting about crapping on our garden fence but I took a few photographs as I wanted to get the textures and colours of the birds. So this have been tinkered with in Photoshop with the final once being heavily saturated.

Hi folks, I’m now on Substack (trying to work out what to do with it) but I’ve posted a story up on there - it’s an oldish one that I’ve shared before on LinkedIn but Substack may be a better place for it. Anyhoo, please check it out and comment, share or whatever and even subscribe as I’ll be posting some more stories and the like in the future.

It began with a simple, cautionary comment every time an apple or an orange was handed to Angus, “don’t swallow the pips or an Orange Tree will grow in your belly!” This comment was followed by a chuckle and a shake of the head.

I've changed the page name once again. I didn't feel comfortable with the word (or title) artist in it. I think the new page name better reflects what and why I do what I do. I'm also looking at ways to share some of the writing - poems, short stories and the like. I shall keep you all updated.
