What The Drums Say

What The Drums Say We've listened to the politicians. We've consulted the gurus. It's time to see WHAT THE DRUMS SAY You may both decide to move apart or move closer. Lookout.

THE DRUMS SAY...

We provide a common beat, a place to meet, maths for your mind and a groove for your feet. People are gathering

It might be a private party for the fun of it

It might be a street demonstration with a message

It could be a conference that’s calling you out of your comfort zone

There will be laughter for sure

At dances we’ve been saying for centuries, “It’s now legit to dance

with the person in front of you. If this happens you can rely on us to keep playing, we’ll provide the pulse to maintain the spell.”

In darker times we might announce there’s a war coming and warriors are preparing, building their strength and focussing their minds. We are like the sea in that respect. We can hold you up and be a source of endless fun, or we can spur you on to race into the arms of death. Our beats are neutral that way, so apply them wisely. Whatever your creed or colour, like every other human being on this planet, you spent nine months in your mother’s womb listening to her heartbeat. Feeling safe. Welcome home.
