The search for Belle has been a long one… and what a search it has been! ✨🌹
After months of searching, auditions, conversations and a few twists and turns along the way, we’re finally ready to reveal the wonderful actress who will be stepping into the iconic role.
After meeting so many incredibly talented performers, we’re absolutely delighted to announce that Rosanna Roscoe will be starring as Belle in Beauty and the Beast at Britannia Pier this Christmas.
Rosanna is making her professional stage debut in the role, and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome her to the cast.
Norfolk has always held a special place in Rosanna’s heart, having spent many happy holidays with family in Norwich. Returning to the county for her first professional role makes this opportunity even more meaningful.
Stepping into Belle’s shoes is a dream come true, and sharing the stage with the brilliant Gareth Gates makes it even more magical.
This role is also a heartfelt tribute to Rosanna’s late great-grandad, Cecil, from Norwich, who inspired her love of performing from a young age. She’ll carry a little piece of his encouragement with her every time she steps into the spotlight this Christmas.
