I've had some beautiful sage green gingham fabric for a while now and couldn't resist turning it into something a little bit special…

Say hello to my newest handmade statement bow. 🎀

With its oversized bow and lovely long flowing tails, I think this would look gorgeous on an interior door, cupboard, wardrobe, mirror or anywhere that needs a little finishing touch.

It's soft, pretty and has that lovely country-cottage feel that I just adore. 🤍

🐝 A new make… and I’m rather in love with this one 🌸

I’ve been thinking of how to use this beautiful fabric and decided it deserved to become something a little bit special.

And this is what I came up with… 🐝🌿🌸

I absolutely love the little bees, flowers and foliage, and that big soft bow just finishes it off perfectly.

This one has definitely got that pretty, country-home feel that we all love. 🤍

🦞 A doorstop with a purpose…

This one was made for me.

For far too long, my rather glamorous solution to keeping the door open was a bath mat shoved in front of it (which didn't always work anyway) 😂

So I decided it was time for a proper doorstop — but of course, I couldn’t just make any old doorstop!

I went looking for the right fabric and really wanted something with a very on trend lobster pattern.

I eventually found this gorgeous fabric and knew it was the one.

And so, what started as “I really need something to stop that door slamming” has turned into this rather lovely doorstop. 🤍

From **bath mat in front of the door… to a doorstop I’m actually proud to have on display!** 😂

Sometimes the things you make for yourself are the most satisfying.

This size is extra large and extra heavy as my door is infront of the window and catches the breeze really easily. This is a water repellant fabric due to it being used for my bathroom 💙

🐎 A little bit of equestrian elegance… 🐎

It started as a slight detour from my usual makes, but I have to say… I’m rather pleased with how this one turned out! 🤎

This equine-inspired tote bag, is now finished, featuring the beautiful vintage-style *Revigny* racing print — complete with those gorgeous old-fashioned racing scenes and a little nod to Ascot.

I think it would make a lovely everyday tote for carrying all those essentials — whether you’re heading to the stables, the shops, or simply want to carry a little bit of equestrian style with you. 🐴

I’ve kept the design simple so that the fabric really gets to do the talking, and I love how the different scenes appear across the bag.

Only 1 of these available, unsure if more will be made in this fabric.

☕Tonight, The Ninth Thread is having a night off! 🍫

No sewing tonight… just me, a cuppa tea, putting my feet up and watching the new Netflix documentary about the **Essex Boys**.

I'm slightly obsessed with the case and anything about it seems to suck me straight in! 😳😂

Sometimes you need an evening where you don't think about fabric, sewing machines, listings or what you're making next… just a quiet night, a warm drink and something interesting to watch.

So tell me…

What's your favourite way to have a night off? ❤️

And is anyone else completely fascinated by true crime documentaries, or is that just me? 😂

✨Another little something new from The Ninth Thread… ✨

I've been making these fabric wristlet keyfobs and I'm rather in love with how they've turned out! 🥰

Perfect for keeping your keys close by without having to rummage around in your bag — just slip the wristlet over your wrist and you're good to go. 🔑👜

I've made a few different designs, from colourful checks to cherries, leopard print and some cute little sushi characters. Just £4 each.

And then there's my favourite little coincidence…

💙 One of them accidentally matches my nails perfectly! 😂💅

Honestly, I couldn't have planned that better if I'd tried!

They're all handmade by me, one at a time, using fabrics I've chosen because I love them. No two sewing days are ever quite the same around here! 🧵💕
