Simply Me Creations The name says it all - these are creations well simply by me. My crafting takes different forms and each day is a new journey.

Simply Me Creations is a small working studio where clients can attend workshops, book one to one or small group sessions and meet to discuss attendance or commission pieces.

Good Morning. No top tip today. Instead I have a short video showing you a little magic that Elsie and I conjured up on Friday in the studio. My earlier post showed Elsie with her amazing Fairy House but as they were still shots you didnt get to see the magic from the new pigment powder used.

This is a Thermochromic powder which responds to heat. It goes on purple but as the video shows apply some heat and it changes colour. It doesnt need to be from a hairdryer, simply touching the coloured area will result in a colour change.

So many possibilities - what would you want to use this on?

Evening everyone. My son in law Aaron has been busy again and has made me a riser shelf so my artwork can be displayed and I have space underneath for some much needed storage - well as the studio isnt a tardis sadly then I have to find a way to make everything fit in and be easily found. I think at some point they will need a coat of stain or paint but that can wait.

This should take care of it - fingers crossed. All I need now are some more commands hooks for the walls to display more wall art and hopefully by next week I will be able to go live with a tidy, working studio and details of my new venture. In the meantime here is the new shelf and I will post progress pics as it begins to take shape.

Good Afternoon. Today my bestie came to the rescue and took me to pick up an absolute bargain for future crafting. So as one good turn deserves another I treated us to breakfast after along with her granddaughter who came along for the ride. Back at the studio her granddaughter got a little creative and tried Powertex for the first time. And she knocked it out of the park.

This is Elsie with her fairy house which has a special colour changing decor. She cant wait for it to be ready to add to her fairy garden at grandma's in 3 weeks when its fully cured.

So thats a wrap folks. The final behind the scenes reel has been posted and that is my Powertex UK Master Tutor journey so far.

Why do I say so far?

Well, so far the journey was for me to join my fellow tutors who have also completed the Master Tutor Course. Passing was just the first stop on that journey. Now as I hit the road again, metaphorically speaking, the focus shifts to my future workshops and personal creations.

As far as workshops are concerned, small group and one to one sessions are, as always, available at my studio in Goole where you can choose your project and work on it at your own pace.

I am currently looking at a venue for larger group, full day, project specific workshops. I hope to be able to confirm this next week and set up a workshop programme.

But behind the scenes I am working on a totally new concept that I will be offering to just 3 people. It will involve full days at the studio over a longer time frame and feature brand new projects exclusively for this concept. There will only be 3 places, it is not a sales ploy where I will announce later extra slots have been created.

So keep following my posts for more details and how to express your interest.
