Today it is four years since we unveiled Emily Wilding Davison in Epsom. It was Lockdown time so it had to be filmed as it happened with only a few guests. I am pleased to report that Emily is still visited very often, her right hand is now very shiny where people hold it when they 'talk' to her and young people enjoy reading about her and learning all about what she went through to help women get the vote. Flowers are often left beside her and she now has red finger nails (OMG). Apparently people have travelled from far and wide to visit her, sit beside her and learn all about her and she is still the 'go to person' to sit and chat with if anyone has a problem they need to share - how wonderful that people feel they can do that.

Love the way that, although both sculptures are extremely different, there are lines of creation that echo each other.

Feeling honoured to be the only sculptor taking part in the Village Artists Art Exhibition at Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre in Walton on Thames. The exhibition opened today and continues until Sunday 25th May. The Private View takes place from 2 until 4pm on Saturday 10th and there will be a 10% discount on all sales during the first hour ...... we expect great crowds. The paintings are amazing and such a variety of styles. Just been sent a few photos to show you. Free entry and free parking plus a great cafe - certainly worth a visit.

So here we are individually with Aphra, with the sun shining before the rain.

Now I will try another one. Afraid I am just off camera, but Queen Camilla is talking to me.

Here are a few photos to give a run-down of events on the 'big day' when Aphra Behn was unveiled. I will be putting them up on Facebook two at a time as I had problems trying to show them as a group. Here goes.
