So the first time I ever went to wind up a hank of wool was a disaster...it took me 4 hours to unwind the absolute mess I made of it...so when it came to winding up my second hank, I did research and discovered that my computer chair works very well as a yarn swift! Took me less than 25 minutes to hand wind this hank, no tangles or knots and actually really relaxing 😌... slightly obsessed with hand dyed hanks of wool at the moment..found some amazing ones in America and Canada... need to find some in the UK now! Xx

So I'm doing a thing.. I've raised money for diabetes by swimming 22 miles before. I've raised money for group B strep by skipping and doing squats before.. well this time it's craft based and it's for breast cancer...

Decided to see if I can still knit after 15 years of not and about 13 years of crochet... started simple with a scarf ( green one) got bored and decided to teach myself knitting in the round which I've never done before ( it's going to be a cowl)..thats fun and it's all I've done for about a week ( I'm a slow knitter, even slower than i crochet which is saying something)... I'm enjoying it but tonight I got cold so I'm back on my tunisian crochet blanket that I started about 4 years ago... ( I have finished loads since then, I'm not that slow at crochet!) Its perfect to keep me warm and busy ... my cat Dora is being very good at the moment and not attacking my wool, just snuggling ...this is cozy season and I'm loving it...this blanket is going to be huge and matches our bedroom perfectly ###

Just a few little makes by me for me... some cotton crochet coasters for our outside furniture...probably for next summer now! Me and the Mr have been very busy behind the scenes. Blade Ravenheart had been perfecting his pyrography boxes and experimenting with wood stains and varnish and paints and other finishing touches and I have been making lost souls shawls ready for the etsy shop and Halloween, although I personally think that skulls are an all year round thing 🖤💀... this one is 100% cotton and is lavender & dark purple ombre effect..or will be when finished. These will be £60 including free postage ( UK only) if you want to order one now and choose your own colours ( I have soooo much yarn!) Feel free to message me or wait for the etsy shop to open so you can choose the ready made ones. These shawls are perfect for cooler summer evenings, spring and autumn..I may do thicker ones for the winter too xx

What do you all think of these? I combined my love of crochet and semi precious gemstone bracelets and made these sparkly tie on crochet bracelets with green dragons vein agate... i think they are so pretty and i had much fun making them , would you wear one? ###

Just a little tester of what my husband will be making and selling in our etsy shop... beautiful pyrographed boxes and trinkets all inspired by the hobbit, lord of the rings , game of thrones, Harry Potter and narnia and possibly more! I'm a lucky wife as this one is for me... however not sure if being called a hobbit is a compliment...my feet aren't that hairy! 🤣 seriously though he is very talented and has some amazing ideas and creations on the go.. our shop will be opening soon.. so keep an eye on us ###

Just a sample of what is to come... these are possibly the most beautiful gem nuggets and beads I've ever seen, the energy from them are otherworldly... the green with silver feather markings are Seraphinite rare grade A gemstones . The pale ethereal blue are Celestite rare grade A gemstones... these will probably also be the most expensive bracelets I will be selling...however they are more than worth the price.. the benefits , spiritual, physical and mental are very powerful and I can feel it just by holding these stunning gems. I will do another post with the benefits of each gemstone..but for now I just wanted to show you them as they are truly beautiful xx
