Happy Birthday to our friends at Glossop Improv!

7 YEARS OF THIS NONSENSE!

Who would have thought, seven years ago, when Sekki and Jess first hatched a plan to bring improv to the beautiful town of Glossop that we would still be here and stronger than ever!

Not only do we still have our original members playing, performing and teaching with us, we also continue to welcome new folks into our crazy gang.

This week is a bumper week for Glossop Actual (our in person wing) as we had our regular show at the Oakwood plus two shows as part of Glossop Heritage Weekend.

Glossop Virtual remains an online haven for the creative and curious under the stewardship of Sekki and Iain.

We are also keen to support all of our members with their own projects and have loved seeing delighting the North West improv scenes and join us for some of our shows.

Thank you to everyone that has been with us in our journey and the support of the wider improv community. You really are a great bunch of eggs.

We had a great time performing at Partington Theatre One-Act festival this year! 🎲🎭🦋
In this quest, our brave hero Jeff sought out the legendary Glow-in-the-Dark plunger, discovering the secret to infinite gold! 💰

We're so grateful to our great audience for their brilliant suggestions and energy, and of course to Partington Theatre for having us along!

Happy birthday to us!
A year ago, a few of us improvisors decided to say "Yes, and..." to a weird and wacky idea we had in our heads.
From Flying Sponges to Un-Blending Blenders and more than a few magic Whisks, every Improvised Quest we've been on so far has been a joy.
Thanks to the everyone who's been to see a show so far and we can't wait to bring you more! 🎲❤️⛰️

Thanks to everyone who attended our show last night for the last Improv Wednesdays at 33 Oldham Street ! 🎲🐝🔥
In this quest, our brave hero Robert, with the help of a magical un-blending blender, attended Magic School and thwarted the evil villain's plans to destroy the stars in the sky! 🪄

We had a PACKED audience and are so grateful that so many of you showed up to see off this great venue!

We were also treated to a brilliant crossover Armando show performed by the hilarious improvisors of My, That Improv The Yoga Goats Improv Skunkhaus Improv on Demand and more. 🚪🐒

Our next show is the end of an era. 🎲🐝🔥
This will be the final ever Improv Wednesdays at 33 Oldham Street and we'll be bringing our very own Improvised Tale along for the occasion.
Additionally, performers from every Wednesdays group are coming together for one last hurrah on our familiar stage in a one-of-its-kind extravaganza, pairing together comedy minds from all over Manchester and watching the sparks fly!

Thanks to all who came to watch our show last night! 🎲🐈🧀
In this quest, our brave hero Shannon, with some help from a legendary talking cheese and various employees of a cat cafe brought cosiness to the city of London. Even the dastardly villain Tagliatelle January got over their hatred of cats in the end. Plus, Big Ben shone with such light that could have only been achieved by a well-rolled 20 on the dice!

Huge thanks to Glossop Improv for having us on board for another brilliant Double-Bill show, as well as our fabulous audience (including one dog!) for your support and suggestions!

January was a busy month! 🎲📺🐝
We had two great shows this month, performing alongside our talented pals and !

Our epic escapades found our heroes discovering the secrets to Gluten-free Mars Bars and even the legendary Tin-Opening Cat! 😺🍫

We'll be back in February for more exciting shows, plus more exciting things to come down the line! 🎲😁
