The Art Lab Our Art club offers a fun, supportive environment for young artists of all abilities.

Each session is packed with creativity and variety—from messy play and collage to painting, printmaking, character design, clay, slime, and more!

Hi everyone! Just a quick update for our next class 😊

Please remember to:

🧃 Bring a snack and a drink
👕 Wear old clothes (we’ll be getting messy!)
📦 Bring along any cardboard you have – toilet roll holders, kitchen roll tubes, or small boxes are perfect for our creations

We’ve got some fun, creative projects planned and can’t wait to see what everyone makes! 🎉

Looking for something creative and fun for the kids during the holidays? The Art Lab at Halfway Hall is opening its doors for two special Easter holiday sessions!

From messy masterpieces to clever crafts, we’ve got a jam-packed schedule of activities designed to inspire every young creator.

Tuesday 7th April: 12pm – 2pm

Thursday 9th April: 2pm – 4pm

Location: Halfway Hall

🖌️ What’s Happening?

We’re diving into a world of colour with:

Painting (get ready to get colourful!)

Making Crafts (take home your own creations)

Games (fun, art-themed challenges)

Price: £20 per child.

Who: All age groups are welcome!

🎄 Christmas Canvas Painting – Parent & Child Session at The Art Lab! 🎨

19th December | 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Paint & Pizza Night! £20 per person

Have a Christmasy creative night with your child, enjoying everything Christmas. Paint your very own Christmas-themed masterpiece while listening to festive songs and singing along together.

Both adults and children booked onto the session will be creating a Christmasy canvas painting. The session is taught as a step-by-step tutorial, with everyone working on their own creation. Adults will paint while supporting their children and enjoying the creative experience together.

All materials and equipment are provided.

What an amazing way to wrap up the summer at The Art Lab! We had a blast painting, laughing, and even playing hide and seek outside — honestly, I think I had more fun than the kids 😂

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the holidays — it’s been such a joy getting to know all the wonderful children and sharing these creative moments with them.

I’ve had a lot of questions about what’s next — and yes, we’ll be back! I’ll be running a Halloween-themed session and a festive Christmas session during the holidays. I might also squeeze in some parent-and-child classes in between, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

🎨✨ Another wonderful and creative day at The Art Lab! ✨🎨

Our amazing young artists did such a fantastic job painting their themed canvases today — so much talent, focus, and imagination! 🖌️💫

We also made the most of the sunshine with a fun outdoor picnic lunch 🧺☀️— the perfect way to recharge and enjoy the nice weather.

Can’t wait to see everyone again for Friday’s class — it’s going to be another inspiring day! 💛
