Hellfire Glasgow Review:
Next up were one of Hellfire's favourites...to both listen to and to look at! Masks aren't my sexual 'thang', mind you (not normally anyway, although there was that one time with the absinthe...), but tall, leggy and hellova talented singers certainly are and Splintered Halo most definitely have one of those in It's gang! Hard-rock eye candy and terrifyingly strange masks

aside though, Splintered Halo are a hugely talented group of individuals with a unique and memorable image and infectiously enjoyable sounds working on their side. Each song is packed choc-full of frantic and energetic guitar solos and riffs, and at times there's so much going on up on the stage it's hard to keep up with them and take it all in! Very technical, and lovingly written, each one of their songs is a little slice of modern, dark, and highly charged gothic poetry, all set to a monstrous metal soundtrack that'll shake you to the very core and leave you feeling drained. This has to be one of Glasgow's must-see bands of 2013, so much so that you can expect to hear us bigging them up every week on our own page.
