Tonight folks, Versaye at Bossa from 8pm, featuring the wonderful Wanderlust Women. Donna Campbell, Dr Linda Jackson and Leslie Benzie will be reading from their forthcoming publication, She Some Woman due to be launched later this year. The trio will be sharing their poems about contemporary and historical women who need greater light shone on their achievements. Come join us. There is music and a plethora of open mic talent too.

📣📣📣 Another Versaye debut! 📣📣📣

Donna Bryson is based in Inverclyde, writing took a backseat until in 2024 when she thought, it’s time! Her first poetry collection, ‘Love, Mothers, and Matriarchs’ was published by Seahorse Publications in September 2025. Donna runs the writing group the Shed Writers, where she facilitates writing classes and delights in converting many people into poetry lovers.

Are you ready for another awesome talent at this Wednesday's Versaye? It's Shetlander-cum-Glaswegian poet and playwright Christ Tait. A regular at spoken word nights across Scotland, Chris works across many different writing genres. Come hear her words this Wed at Bossa from 8pm. it's going to be braw night indeed with a featured set from those three Wanderlust Women.

We are delighted to welcome Paisley poet Ray Evans to this Wednesday's Versaye. The current Scotia Poet Laureate, Ray is a celebrated poet with several collections under his belt, as well as being a photographer. An exhibition of Ray's black and white photography will be held in Paisley's Refractive gallery next year, with an accompanying book.
He loves Leica's, fine dining, a fine IPA and a decent single malt. Join us and Ray from 8pm on Wednesday.

A welcome return to the Versaye stage this Wednesday for writer Peter Clive. Peter's interests range from climate change to astronomy. Widely published and amassing five collections in total, he is a scientist working with renewable energy and lives in the southside of Glasgow. Join Peter and us from 8pm on Wednesday at Bossa.

The open-mic talent at this month's Versaye just keeps getting hotter! Next up is Ross McWhinnie, ASN teacher, recovering history teacher and one time classicist who occasionally gets accused of poetry. He likes myths and words and the places they meet.

The clock is ticking for your first spring installment of Versaye at Bossa. Our event is on Wednesday the 15th April from 8pm onwards. 📣📣📣 Next up supporting Taylor Dyson and Caroline Burrows is Biff - Poems and Spoken Word!

Biff Smith is a poet snd singer-songwriter from Glasgow. In 2025 he won both Scottish and World Poetry Slam championships. His debut pamphlet is scheduled for release this year and he is currently working on a feature-length spoken word theatre show. Biff's specialist subjects include depression, alcoholism and existential dread. He enjoys fine wines and likes a good belly laugh.
