Ten years in the making for this final gig, and we did not expect it to last more than a couple of years, when we first opened 'Blues at the Woodlands'
After some incredible band performances Coved-19 intervened and a dramatic halt to live music, things changed and we started again with a new identity 'Riverside Rhythm Club" booking some of the top R&B bands in the UK Europe and USA. Now after 10 years of enjoying live music making loads more friends, the time has come to opt out and relax. Big thanks to Derek White who not only played at the club but supplied top bands from his agency, thanks to Steve Potter who kept inspiring and helping us. Our good friends Peter and Mary who travelled from Ireland to be with us on this closing night and to all of you that have supported us over the years. The closing gig was a blockbuster performances from local band Mister 44 who are indeed heading for bigger stages and my good mucker Aiden Prioy with the Whisky Flowers who gave a full on blistering performance from start to end. Thank you all it has been a great 10 year journey.

We are getting close now to the final gig at the Riverside Rhythm Club {Friday 21st} and what better way to bow out 2 bands one legend and one local who will be delivering a solid class performance you'll will wonder why this club has to close, but we have given it our all and seen some incredible bands meet and made friends with many more. Doing the honours for the night are 'The whiskey Flowers' who's name graces many clubs and festivals as a must book and the popular local band 'Mister 44' another band putting Medway on the music map.

Friday 21st November will be the last gig at the Riverside Rhythm Club, and what a night this will be. Richard and I are taking this opportunity to bow out of live music promotion after 10 years since setting up 'Blues at the Woodlands' then the enforced break for Covid to then establish the 'Riverside' We have had many great nights of outstanding live music, made loads of friends along the way and many of the bands we now treat as firm friends. It will be with great sadness, and to finish the clubs last gig, what better way than with my mate, Aiden Priory and The Whisky Flowers who are a top demand band in the country and first band name for the Ballyshannon Festivals and with their blues-rock fused sets will blow the bloody roof off. If that was not enough we have kept to our aims in given local bands a chance to play on a big stage and we are proud to include the up and coming and who are gaining much attention within the county MISTER44.
