ByWord Theatre needs a male or female actor for a ghost play as part of the Frome Festival in July. The drama has supernatural elements and a surprise twist.
Aged 18-30, the character seems naive and enthusiastic, but has a concealed purpose, and is ready to pounce.
The actor gets a share of the profits.

Are you a writer?

ByWord Theatre is now seeking scripts for its forthcoming productions in Frome.

Your script should be suitable for a small venue. That usually means having a maximum of 2 or 3 people on stage at any one time.

We're looking for the ability to hold an audience's attention and write authentic dialogue.

We welcome scripts from new writers and under-represented parts of the community.

Please send a synopsis of your play, plus a complete script, to [email protected]

To ensure fairness, all scripts will be read anonymously. Please remove your name and contact details from the script.

The deadline for receipt of scripts is midnight on Sunday 15th October.
