We have been doing things a little bit differently over the last couple of weeks, and I'm very interested to know what people think.
Having been on a days training on the use of AI in business, hosted by I've been thinking about how AI can be used in my business.
Previously I've been quite anti AI for a number of reasons, including the environmental impact, the forced change on the workforce, the potential impact on creative arts - to name just a few concerns.
Realistically though, its here and here to stay and will only grow and quickly by the looks of things. The same concerns applied when the internet happened, and when cars became more popular - change is always difficult and always has negative impacts as well as positive.
So, I went to my training day and learnt loads about how AI can support my business, and have been trying out some of the ideas.
I have a ChatGPT agent who is making flyers and graphics for social media for me, this is saving me lots of time, and I mean lots. Previously it would have taken me about an hour and half to create a flyer, my agent helped me create 10 in about 2 and half hours the other day. The down side is that they do look a like AI created them, but they get the message across and are colourful. So this will stay and we can work on making them more personal.
I've learnt lots about AEO, if my business is to get noticed in AI searches then content has to be optimised to be picked up by searches. As a small business that relies on getting noticed, we cannot afford not to have AI ensuring that all of content appeals to them on searches. This is staying.
One of my agents created some pictures that looked like people in the workshop but were completely AI generated. This isn't staying, all photos on all flyers, graphics, posts etc are real ones taken in the workshop. I might ask the agents to change the back ground though, as editing photos is something I've never got the hand of and simply don't have the brain capacity to learn for my self right now!
I have an agent working on regular market research. I had been spending the best part of a day doing this each month, checking that our offer was the right one and in line with the market. My agent provided me with a report while I had a shower the other day - this is staying. Although I need to work on this report, as its not quite as accurate as mine was, we shall get there though.
I'm really interested to hear what people think about the whole thing?
