It’s so hard to pick a favourite part of the drawing process … but laying down the base layers has to be right up there! 🤍

I love building those first foundations - mapping out the shapes, values, and colours, then slowly watching the character of each pet emerge, starting with those beautiful eyes and nose.

Tonight’s progress is Tilly’s base layers, sitting alongside her big sister Daisy, who is almost complete now … just her body left to finish … I can’t wait to see these two come together! ❤️

Scruffy but adorable 🤍 more work on little Daisy dog tonight, starting on all those fluffy, scruffy details! So full of character!! 🐶

I’ve been quiet … but after some illness I’m finally back at the drawing board! Loving putting the base layers down for little Daisy 🌼 she has such amazing details in her fur, I can’t wait to start on those!
