Hi all I was wondering what is your thoughts on honey oak cabinets. I know the trend is to hate them and paint them but honestly I am a vintage girl and don’t have that big a problem with them. I love that easy comfortable non-fancy vintage farmhouse look. (LOL if u are a modern girl, God bless u , but u may want to keep scrolling 😁)
I have a good size country kitchen and don’t want to spend the money to paint them (no I don’t want to do it myself). I am thinking of just restoring them and new lacquer and hardware and that is expensive enough.
Am I crazy or are they really as ugly as people say they are and any thoughts on updating. Appreciate all feedback. I just love this group! TYIA

This morning i unwrapped my egg mc muffin and hash brown. The same combo i have gotten for over a year from my local mc d’s. Never have i thought this would bother me as much as it did. But to my surprise. My first muffin was built upside down. With the bottom bun being on top as i unwrapped it. Thinking it wasnt gonna effect me as much as it did i continued to lay the hot sauce down under the top bun. Which is now actually the bottom. I ate it. Open the second one. Another one upside down. A true tragedy as the flavor doesnt mix the same when the hot sauce is between bottom bun and egg versus top bun and egg.

Edit: no flipping it 180 does not cure the issue. Then the cheese would be under the top bun. Which normally its under the sausage

I was perplexed this afternoon when I opened my "butter" and saw the top layer was the same exact color as the tub. 😬😳 As SOON as I saw this I grabbed my phone to take a picture for y'all!!!
I just stared at it for a few minutes before finally forking some out and seeing it wasn't all that yellow. ....but why did that happen?! It kind of proved to me how unhealthy it is but I shan't stop eating it! 😂
I was making buttered noodles, inspired by a previous dull post. Seasoned with garlic powder & salt!
I hadn't gone shopping yet so, carrot for scale.
F. USA. Size 7 shoe.
*EDIT* Wow, I didn't realize how much attention this would get! But, because of this post and how concerned everyone is that I am eating margarine...and also seeing how it turned so yellow 😬🤢 From this point on I will not longer purchase margarine and I am now a butter gal!!!!!! Rest easy, knowing this info! 🤣
