Eydon Ladies Group We are a group of women living in or near Eydon, Northants. We meet on the third Wednesday

At our 16th September meeting in Eydon Village Hall at 7.30pm we are going to have a needle felting workshop with Michelle from Michelle's Fancy Felts. An experienced teacher of the craft, she will talk about the processes involved and then we can all have a go. The meeting is open to all ladies, guests will pay just £5 and that includes refreshments at the end of the practical workshop.

Not long now before our meeting on 19 of August in Eydon Village Hall at 7.30pm. This meeting is for ladies only, guests are welcome - just £5 each.
We are going to try our hand at Tai Chi Chih - a gentle, meditative movement which is suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes. Afterwards we will relax and have time to chat over refreshments.

As promised here are details of our new speaker for our open meeting on Wednesday 17th June at 7.30pm in Eydon Village Hall.
It will be Fay Tennet, she is going to tell us about the time of the Westminster terror attack, when Parliament was suspended and the aftermath. She was Deputy Director of Security Operations at the time so her talk will be fascinating.

Clare Hollingworth, the intrepid war correspondent, journalist and author, is the topic for Eydon Ladies' meeting on 17th June at 7.30pm in Eydon Village Hall.
She, as a young reporter, broke the news of the start of WWII, and led a fascinating life. Our speaker, Ken Bryan, knew Clare so this makes the evening particularly special.
Everyone is welcome to come to this event, husbands, partners, friends and family - guests pay just £5 which includes refreshments.

Last month's meeting, where we tasted three of Pinnock Distillery's fabulous gins, and a sneaky spiced rum, was a huge success. Lewis did a fabulous job of explaining how the gins were made and Kevin did a great job of handing round the samples and telling us about the Freespirit Pubs family.

Andrew North's talk on the history of opera was fascinating. He illustrated it beautifully with music from operas over the centuries and held the audience spellbound.
Our next meeting is on 20 May at 7.30pm in Eydon Village Hall. It's for ladies only and non members are welcome (paying just £5 including refreshments)

We are going to sample Pinnock Distillery's gin! There will be an opportunity to purchase your favourite once we've finished tasting. So come along and enjoy a relaxing evening - the gin tasting will be followed by the usual refreshments and, no doubt, lots of chatting.
