Hello hello!

I'm always asked when the next Beginners Taught Session is... Well, we have one coming up on September 17th with plenty of space available!

Have you always wondered what life drawing is all about? A bit nervous to try? No idea how to draw anything?! Haven't done it for 100 years and need a refresher?

Come along to our Beginners Session and let me help you 🤗

We create a relaxed, fun, friendly environment where we remove the fear of putting marks on the paper and celebrate every line - wonky or smudgy or timid or otherwise!

We explore some techniques to help with quick gestural sketches, and how to measure and plan and draw longer, more involved poses.

All materials are supplied.

We also eat biscuits and drink tea.

What more can I say? 🤷‍♀️ It's fab!

A rare digital artwork created at one of our recent classes.

I personally love using the sessions to work with traditional, physical artwork mediums, but in this case I was trapped near the door without my sketchbook, but holding my iPad, so... drawing is drawing, whatever you use!

🎺 *EXCITING NEWS FOR NEXT TERM CLAXON*

We are launching a daytime four hour session 💁‍♀️

A chance to sink into a longer class! Thrilled to say we have the wonderful Annabella Twort Model modelling for the first one of these which will be October 2nd (plenty of notice to book the day off work 😂)

Testing the waters with this one, but very much hoping to make it a monthly class 🤞

Tickets are available to book through the link in our bio, along with the whole September schedule. And of course our summer social is coming up on August 27th 🥰

"What a session to end on!" - a quote from one of our artists last week 🔥

And they were right, thank you to the absolutely phenomenal model talents of Jósef for a wonderful evening of drawing 🙏👌 check out some of the lovely artwork created!

We are now on a little summer break until September 3rd.

But FEAR NOT team, we are having a summer social at Samuel Jones on 27th August 🥂💛 the details of which are uploaded as a free event on Eventbrite. Do come along and have a catch up!

The September schedule is also available to book by clicking on the link in our bio. This includes another Absolute Beginners Taught Session on 10th September 👍

Where on earth has July gone?!

We are, unbelievably, heading into our last class of this term. But we'll finish with a bang with the wonderful Jósef modeling for us tomorrow night at the Cygnet Theatre👌

I'm afraid the class is sold out, but FEAR NOT life drawers, the September schedule is now uploaded and your next class will only be 4 weeks away 😊

We also have a summer social on the 27th of August at Samuel Jones 🥂☀️and the information for this event is uploaded on our Evenbrite page. As always, the link is in our bio. Everyone welcome! It would be really helpful if you could book a (free) ticket so I can let the venue know numbers.

Dozens of incredible drawings!!
Thank you everyone for such a great class last week. Anna is a model who always brings out the best in everyone's work. You can hear the phrase "I LOVE drawing her" echoing around the room all evening! 😄

And of course we're back again on Thursday, back at the Cygnet Theatre, with the phenomenal Peter gracing us with his modelling talent 🙌

We're back this Thursday evening 7-9pm with pro superstar Anna Twort modeling for us 🙌

Hey team!

You have FIVE life drawing classes left before we break for the summer. All of them have tons of spaces left 😱🙌 so come and join us! If you've been hesitant to come before, or you were unable to book on, now is your chance.

And if you'd like some guidance/feedback/help at the class, I'm always on hand, especially when the class numbers are a little smaller 😊 just grab me before the session starts.

We are at our alternative venue of the Magdalen Room at for the next 2 weeks on July 2nd and July 9th, then we're back at our normal home of the for the rest of the month.
