Let’s Inherit The Earth by Morna Pearson brought punk rock, political satire and climate chaos to the stage.

The show opened at the Edinburgh Fringe before touring Scotland and Sweden, with a cast of Tobias Morin, Lina Hognert, Jan Karlsson, Matthew Zajac and Sarah McCardie.

Featuring electrifying songs by Jonny Hardie and Brian Macalpine, direction by Ben Harrison and design by Ulla Karlsson, it was hailed by The Scotsman as “one of the most anarchic, timely and memorable shows on the Fringe.”

Jacobite Country by Henry Adam toured Scotland after its 2010 Edinburgh Fringe run, bringing anarchic comedy and dark Highland chaos to the stage.

Featuring a brilliant all-female cast, Sarah Haworth, Annie Grace, Mairi Morrison and Fiona Morrison, who were praised as “entirely convincing as crazed men” (The Stage).

In 2007, Dogstar toured Henry Adam’s ‘e Polish Quine, a poetic and moving play set in Aberdeenshire at the end of the Second World War.

‘e Polish Quine’s themes of war trauma, migration and love struck a contemporary chord with our audiences.

Our excellent ensemble included Fraser C. Sivewright, Sarah Haworth, Douglas Russell, Anne Kidd, Hamish Wilson and Magdalena Kaleta.

DOGSTAR ARCHIVE

Dogstar is working with the Highland Archive Centre in Inverness to create a new Dogstar Theatre Company Archive.

This will be home for all the paper and digital records we have, recording over 25 years of the company’s productions, tours and adventures across Scotland and abroad.

The Archive Centre has created a new part-time post for an Archive Assistant to work on this exciting project. Check out the job description via the link in our bio.
